Federal Grant for urbanized Bakersfield Workshop
Kern Council of Governments is offering a workshop for federal grants to improve transportation of low-income and disabled residents of urbanized Bakersfield. Approximately $400,000 is available in the Job Access Reverse Commute program that provides transportation options to and from work sites or work training sites. Approximately $74,000 is available for projects designed to assist disabled residents beyond American’s with disabilities act projects.
