For each corner, extensive searches of record information and subsequent selection of "best" sources were used to locate corners. No field surveys were conducted to find questionable corners. Where the only information available was from original Government Plats, BLM-GCDB data was used where possible. If records identified multiple alternate positions for the same corner i, the County Surveyor determined which was to be used.
