Kern Council of Governments (Kern COG) invites the submission of proposals for professional demographic and socioeconomic services to assist Kern COG with updating the Regional Growth Forecast and Demographic Forecast. The Regional Growth Forecast is a long-range projection for countywide population, housing and employment characteristics which is used as a tool for the preparation of Kern COG’s Sustainable Community Strategies (SCS) and Regional Transportation Plan, along with providing growth forecast data to Kern COG’s eleven member agencies within Kern County. Member agencies use demographic data for transportation modeling and planning studies.
